There are so many opportunities available for well-trained dental assistants to join the dental profession. It is our desire as a dental assistant school to train chair-side dental assistants to assume the many positions available in Wausau and the surrounding communities.

We also are offering the course in 2 locations starting in January, Wausau and Madison.

Our facility includes up-to-date technology in regards to dental equipment, clinical training rooms and computer workstations. There are 7 working operatories and 1 lecture room with a variety of teaching tools. The course will consist of 1 day for 10 weeks, with each day consisting of 4 hours of lecture in the morning and 4 hours of clinical (hands on) in the afternoon, with 1 hour for lunch. Lunch is not provided, however several eating establishments are within a short distance. In addition, there are 60 hours of home study plus a voluntary 10-15 hours of practice on the job training.
